WordPress Weekly Photo Challenge: Free Spirit

Here is my entry for this week’s WordPress Weekly Photo Challenge — Free Spirit:


While walking my dog near the Moss Landing cemetary, near sunset, I noticed what seemed to be a new grave. The colorful decorations lovingly placed around the gravestone seemed to say something about the “free spirit” of the loved one who had departed.

    I like this photo Jean. I see what you mean…it conveys a spirit living on through the expression of those left here in our realm.

    Thanks Jane. Although this photo was taken a couple years ago, you can still see the gaily decorated grave in the cemetary from Moss Landing Rd. The family has been renewing the decorations on a regular basis.
