Farmworkers left out in the heat

“Who’s watching out for farmworkers left out in the heat?” and July 3 article by Hernan Vera (Attorney and President of Public Counsel Law Center), considers California’s current heat-illness regulations, and whether or not they are helping farmworkers, as they work through summer’s rising temperatures. A number of California farmers are unhappy about the passing of Assembly Bill 2346, which makes heat-illness regulations more stringent (see link to article below).
